We did not sign up for or use the other tools here: what follows is read from their own public pages on the dates shown, with stated facts kept apart from marketing claims. How we review.
Jobapplier: read on 2026-10-31 from its public pages and public plans API on jobapplier.co, signed out, and from its code. The signed-in features are described from the code and its documentation, not from a hands-on run, and no application was sent for this site.
How we ordered this list
- How much you can check for free, and how often.
- Whether the score is against a job description you give it, and what the vendor says it measures.
- What you can do with the gaps: keyword lists, and rewrites you approve one by one.
- The paid price and the stated terms for leaving: renewal, cancellation and refunds.
- What each tool's own pages leave unclear or contradict.

Why people look past Jobscan
Jobscan gives a match rate out of 100 for a resume against a job description, names the employer’s applicant tracking system and lists the gaps. The free plan is 5 scans a month. Beyond that, Premium is $49.95 a month or $89.95 a quarter, and refunds are possible only within 2 calendar days of a billing period, case by case, if the service was unused. Those terms are the usual reason to look elsewhere. Jobscan’s monthly price and the 5 free scans are from its pricing page as read on 30 October 2026.
How the list is ordered
The criteria above set the order, the first carrying most weight. Free checks come first because most people searching for an alternative want to keep checking without paying. None of these tools was used for this page; each line comes from the tool’s own pages.
Scores work differently
The tools do not measure the same thing. Resume Worded scores the resume itself and adds a targeted check against a job description. Resume.io runs 16 checks and adds a match when you paste a posting. Enhancv runs 27 checks on content, layout, grammar and keywords. Huntr rates coverage as poor, fair or great instead of giving a number. Rezi breaks its score down by section.
Jobapplier works the other way round: it does not check a resume’s format, but scores each job in its own listings against your profile, from 0 to 100 with a one-line reason, and your resume from 0 to 10 against that posting’s skills, read by a model trained on job postings. It is a young product, with no outcome data to show, and its Chrome extension is not in the Chrome Web Store.
A score from one tool cannot be compared with another’s, and none of these pages shows how a score relates to what an employer’s system or a recruiter decides.
What you can do with the gaps
A score is only useful if it leads to an edit. Resume Worded’s AutoFix rewrites weak lines from your own experience, and you approve each change. Huntr’s tailor rewrites bullets, explains each change, and its FAQ says it cannot invent titles, numbers or skills. Enhancv’s one-click tailoring suggests edits you accept or reject. Teal rewrites the summary and bullets with the job description’s wording.
The terms for leaving
Resume Worded gives first-time buyers no refund. Resume.io’s trial renews at $29.95 every 4 weeks unless cancelled within 7 days. Enhancv does not refund a used monthly plan. Rezi offers a 30-day money-back guarantee, though its pages disagree on which plans it covers. Jobapplier refunds any Pro payment in full within 7 days and has no trial. Read the terms on each tool’s own page before paying.

[source] A new account starts with one Skip rule (scores below 70) and no Apply rule, so nothing is sent until the person writes one. [source] | Its pages do not say | Its pages do not say |
