How we review

What we weigh, in order

  1. What it produces: the resume, letter or score itself, its formats (PDF, Word) and what is behind a paywall.
  2. How it scores: whether a match or ATS score explains what it measures, and against what.
  3. What it changes in your resume: whether it rewrites facts (titles, dates, employers) or only wording.
  4. Price and exit: plans, free tiers, trials that renew, refunds and cancelling, as its pages state them.
  5. Workflow fit: tracking, browser extension, exports and the other places the tool touches your search.
  6. Your data: what its pages say about storing and sharing your resume.

Where the facts come from

Each product gets a research record: its stated facts by topic, its prices by plan, its own marketing claims kept apart, and a list of what we could not verify. Every line carries its source URL and the date it was read. The tables on our pages are drawn from that record, so a page and its sources cannot drift apart.

For Jobapplier, a line may also come from its code and documentation, which the public cannot read; such a source is marked as Jobapplier's code and documentation.

Published by the team behind Jobapplier.

What would change a verdict

A new price, a removed free plan, a changed refund window, a new limit or a new risk stated in a product's terms. When we see one, we re-read the product's pages and update the page and its date.
