Strengths

  • The interview question generator is priced with the $40 a month plan.

Limits to know before you pay

  • No free trial; the free plan includes a few AI credits, and the exact number is not stated.
  • Subscriptions recur until cancelled.

  • Its full Terms of Service could not be read on 31 October 2026.

What Huntr is

Huntr is a job tracker that grew a resume tailor, cover letters and interview questions around it. You find jobs elsewhere and save them with the Chrome Job Clipper or the iOS and Android apps; Huntr does not describe a job search of its own.

The tracker

Each job on the board carries notes, dates, tasks and salary details, contacts sit beside the jobs, and a map shows where the companies are. The Chrome listing also says Huntr makes it easy to log activities for weekly unemployment claims.

The free plan tracks up to 100 jobs with unlimited contacts and up to 100 document uploads. A long search will reach the 100-job cap; plan whether to archive or pay before it does.

The resume tailor

Paste a job and the tailor rewrites bullet points, maps your skills to the posting’s keywords and scores the match as it goes, explaining each change. Its FAQ says it cannot invent titles, numbers or skills, a limit worth having in writing. The match score combines keyword, qualifications and responsibilities matching and rates coverage as poor, fair or great rather than a number.

Every saved version exports as PDF or DOCX. The free plan includes unlimited base resumes with PDF export and 2 job-tailored resumes; more tailoring means Pro.

Letters and interview questions

The cover letter generator writes from the job and your experience, and the letters are editable. Its page says the free tier covers a few letters and Pro is unlimited. The interview question generator gives likely questions for a job with STAR-format answers drawn from your resume, and its page prices it with the $40 a month plan.

The extension’s autofill

The same Chrome extension fills application forms from your Huntr profile, unlimited on the free plan. The resume tailor page counts 9 ATS platforms without naming them; the Chrome listing names Greenhouse and Lever and describes you submitting each application. Where a field does not fill, you add the detail. Huntr’s autofill page claims you can apply to hundreds of jobs a day; that is its claim, not something its pages show.

Price and leaving

Pro is $40 a month, $90 every 3 months or $160 every 6 months. There is no free trial. Subscriptions recur until cancelled, and you cancel in Personal Account Settings; the plan stays active to the end of the period and no data is lost.

Refunds are discretionary. A request within three days of the latest charge, after at least two billing periods, may qualify; none is given after 14 days from the last invoice; at most two invoices a subscription period are refunded; high engagement may disqualify a request. Quarterly and biannual plans are refunded pro rata by usage. If you are unsure, start with the free plan and the monthly price rather than 6 months up front.

The claims

Huntr says over 500,000 job seekers have used it. Its full Terms of Service did not load for our reader, so this page does not describe them.
