We did not sign up for or use the other tools here: what follows is read from their own public pages on the dates shown, with stated facts kept apart from marketing claims. How we review.

Jobapplier: read on 2026-10-31 from its public pages and public plans API on jobapplier.co, signed out, and from its code. The signed-in features are described from the code and its documentation, not from a hands-on run, and no application was sent for this site.

How we ordered this list

  1. What the free plan tracks, and whether the limit is stated clearly.
  2. How jobs get onto the board: a browser extension, phone apps, its own job listings.
  3. What sits beside each job: notes, tasks, contacts, documents, a score.
  4. The paid price and the stated terms for leaving.
  5. Whether the tool's pages state their limits the same way everywhere.

No scores and no ratings: the order follows these criteria, applied to what each product's own pages state.

How this list was made

The order follows the criteria above, the first weighing most. Every line comes from the tools’ own pages; none was used for this page, and there are no scores of our own. Teal’s pages refused automated reading on 31 October 2026, so its lines are from 30 October.

Getting jobs onto the board

Most of these trackers save a posting from a job board through a Chrome extension: Huntr’s Job Clipper, Teal’s extension for more than 40 boards, Jobscan’s for Indeed, LinkedIn, Glassdoor and others. Huntr and Simplify add phone apps. Simplify’s board also fills as you apply with its Copilot extension.

Jobapplier works the other way: the board sits beside its own listings, read from employers’ career pages, and its pages do not describe saving a job from elsewhere. Pick it only if you search from those listings.

What each job carries

Huntr’s cards hold notes, dates, tasks and salaries, with contacts and a company map. Teal’s hold contacts, companies, salary details from the posting and e-mail templates for each stage. Jobscan puts a match rate on each card. Kickresume links each application to the resume and letter you sent. Simplify suggests status updates from your Gmail. Jobapplier shows its 0 to 100 score with a one-line reason.

Free plans and their limits

Huntr states its limit plainly: up to 100 tracked jobs. Jobscan’s, Simplify’s and Kickresume’s trackers are free. Jobapplier’s Tracker has no limit on any plan, though its Free plan caps tailored resumes at 2 a day. Teal’s free tracking limit is not stated on the pages read.

Auto apply Its pages do not sayIts pages do not say
Auto Apply matches the user with jobs from Greenhouse, Lever, Workable and other ATS platforms and fills details from the resume and profile. [source]
You pick each job for Autopilot from Job Matches, the Job Board or search; it is offered only on supported postings and not on a job marked already applied. [source]
Its pages do not say
The Agent applies only to jobs that fit one of the person's Apply rules and none of their Skip rules, on the single-page forms of eleven systems: Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby, Workable, Recruitee, Rippling, Breezy, Teamtailor, Pinpoint, BambooHR and Personio. [source]
A new account starts with one Skip rule (scores below 70) and no Apply rule, so nothing is sent until the person writes one. [source]
Autofill
The resume tailor page lists the extension's autofill as covering 9 ATS platforms, without naming them. [source]
The Chrome Web Store listing (Huntr LLC, version 2.0.45, updated April 28, 2026) says the extension autofills application forms from the Huntr profile, works on thousands of sites and names Greenhouse and Lever. [source]
The autofill page names LinkedIn, Indeed and employer websites; where a field does not fill, the user adds the detail. [source]
Its pages do not sayIts pages do not say
With continuous multipage autofill on, Copilot keeps filling supported pages after you start; you still review and submit. [source]
Its pages do not say
The Chrome extension fills forms on Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby, Workday (multipage), iCIMS, SmartRecruiters and many other career sites; every AI-written answer is marked. [source]
Who presses Submit
The Chrome listing describes the user submitting applications with its one-click quick apply. [source]
Teal's help centre says it does not submit applications for the user. [source]
The user exports the resume from Teal and uploads it to the employer's application. [source]
Every Auto Apply application is reviewed by the user, and the user presses Submit. [source]
Copilot (the extension) fills the form; you review it and press the employer's final Submit yourself. [source]
Autopilot (Simplify+) fills and submits the application with no review step; starting the run authorizes submission. [source]
Its pages do not say
In the extension the person presses Submit, the panel's Submit Application or the form's own; the extension never submits by itself and waits while a required field is empty. [source]
Before the Agent presses Submit it takes a picture of the filled form; Review shows each question with the answer that went. [source]
Where jobs come from
Jobs are saved by the user from other sites with the Chrome Job Clipper; Huntr does not describe finding jobs itself. [source]
Its job search lists jobs that it says come straight from company applicant tracking systems. [source]
Jobscan's job search jobs come from Indeed's API. [source]
Job Matches covers the United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Australia, France, Germany, India, Ireland, Italy and Spain. [source]
Its pages do not say
Jobs are read every hour from employers' career pages on Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby, Workday and other applicant tracking systems, and LinkedIn postings are read with no account, only those whose Apply button leads to the employer's own site. [source]
LinkedIn Its pages do not say
Teal+ includes a LinkedIn profile analysis. [source]
A LinkedIn optimization tool checks the profile against job postings; the page says full access often requires payment. [source]
On LinkedIn and Indeed the extension reads job descriptions for missing resume keywords; its pages do not say Copilot or Autopilot applies through LinkedIn Easy Apply. [source]
Its pages do not say
LinkedIn Easy Apply postings are not added and not filled; signing in with a LinkedIn account is switched off today. [source]
Limits and caps Its pages do not say
The free plan has a fixed number of AI generation credits that do not renew. [source]
Auto Apply spends one credit a job; Premium users are topped up to 2 credits each month. [source]
Simplify+ includes 20 Autopilot credits a week; a credit is used only for a successful submission, failed or cancelled runs use none, and unused credits do not roll over. [source]
Copilot autofill has no application limit. [source]
Its pages do not say
A CAPTCHA or an emailed code stops the Agent's application and hands it to the person; Jobapplier does not solve CAPTCHAs or read email. [source]
The Agent sends up to 30 applications a day on Pro. [source]
Browsers and extension Its pages do not say
Its Chrome extension saves jobs from more than 40 job boards into the tracker. [source]
The Chrome Web Store listing, by Teal Labs, Inc, describes saving and finding jobs, contacts, companies and resumes in one place; version 4.0.8, updated June 26, 2025. The listing does not mention autofill or pricing. [source]
The Chrome extension (Jobscan, version 2.2.11, updated October 12, 2026) saves jobs from boards such as Indeed, LinkedIn and Glassdoor to the tracker and scans the resume against a listing; it does not mention autofill. [source]
Copilot runs on Chrome and other Chromium browsers; Firefox is in beta with limited support; on iPhone it is a Safari extension in the iOS app. [source]
A Chrome extension by kickresume-publisher generates a cover letter for an open job post; version 1.1.0, updated January 17, 2024. [source]
Chrome only, and the extension is not in the Chrome Web Store yet. [source]
Resume tailoring
The resume tailor rewrites bullet points, maps skills to keywords and scores the match in real time, explaining each change. [source]
Its FAQ says the tailor cannot invent titles, numbers or skills. [source]
AI rewrites the summary and bullet points with the wording of the job description. [source]
Auto-Select picks the work experience items most relevant to the job, which the user then turns on. [source]
AI Optimize suggests skills and alternative bullet points for a job description; each suggestion is accepted or rejected by the user. [source]
AI Optimize is part of Premium. [source]
Autopilot can generate a tailored resume and does not show it to you for approval before it submits. [source]
With a target job, Simplify+ rewrites the whole resume, a section or single bullets; you review the changes before applying them, and the source file stays separate. [source]
Resume tailoring rewrites the CV for a pasted job post at a chosen level (Conservative, Balanced, Turbo) and reports each change; the free plan gets one use. [source]
Its page says the AI works only with information already in the resume. [source]
One resume per posting at a level the person picks: Off (the default), Light, Balanced or Aggressive. No level adds or changes an employer, job title, seniority, date, place of work, school, degree, certification or work authorization. The file is a one-column PDF named Resume.pdf. [source]
No .docx export: the resume is a PDF. [source]
ATS check and match score
The match score combines keyword, qualifications and responsibilities matching, and rates coverage as poor, fair or great. [source]
Teal+ shows every keyword of the job description and a match score of the resume against the role. [source]
Every scan returns a Match Report with a match rate out of 100 for the job and the gaps found. [source]
The Match Report and the initial match rate are free. [source]
Given the company name or job URL, Jobscan identifies the employer's ATS and gives guidance for it. [source]
Copilot names Workday, Greenhouse, iCIMS, Taleo, Avature, Lever and SmartRecruiters among the systems it fills, and says support depends on the particular form. [source]
A keyword match panel compares the selected resume with the job description, beside a broader Resume Score; the help centre says neither predicts an employer's decision. [source]
The ATS checker runs more than 20 weighted checks of formatting, design, typefaces, structure and content; 75% and up counts as good. It is listed under the paid plans. [source]
Its pages do not say
Cover letters
AI cover letters tailored to the job and the user's experience, editable; the free tier is said to cover a few letters, Pro is unlimited. [source]
A cover letter generator uses the resume and the job description. [source]
The cover letter generator is free during the 7-day trial and afterwards part of Premium; an account is required. [source]
Simplify+ generates a cover letter in Copilot from the job description and your profile; you review and edit it before using it. [source]
A cover letter builder with templates matching the resumes, and an AI cover letter writer. [source]
Cover letters are written for one posting from that posting's resume and the profile, in a professional, warm or direct tone; a sentence that claims more than they show is rewritten or cut. [source]
Job tracker
A tracker for notes, dates, tasks and salaries of each job, with a map of where the companies are. [source]
Contacts can be kept beside the jobs. [source]
The Chrome listing says Huntr makes it easy to log activities for weekly unemployment claims. [source]
The Chrome listing names job tracking, goal setting, salary information from job descriptions, follow-up reminders, email templates and bookmarked contacts and companies. [source]

A Tracker board of applications with no limit on any plan. [source]
Interview practice

Video interview practice with live transcripts and AI feedback. [source]
Mock interview practice with video or audio answers and AI feedback, sold as an optional add-on outside the standard subscription. [source]

iOS and Android apps build resumes and cover letters, with free unlimited PDF or DOCX export. [source]
No phone app in an app store today: the web app runs in a browser, the extension in Chrome on a computer. [source]
Trial
There is no free trial; the free plan includes a few AI credits. [source]
The pricing page says no credit card is needed to start. [source]
A 7-day free trial comes with the quarterly plan. [source]
Starting the trial places a temporary $1 authorization hold on the card, which is not a charge. [source]
Cancelling during the trial costs nothing. [source]
Its pages do not say
There is no separate trial; Kickresume is free while no paid customization option is chosen. [source]
No free trial of Pro; there is a Free plan. [source]
Refunds and cancelling
Refunds are discretionary: a request within three days of the latest charge after at least two billing periods may qualify, none after 14 days from the last invoice, at most two invoices a subscription period, and high engagement may disqualify a request. [source]
Quarterly and biannual plans are refunded pro rata by usage; monthly refunds depend on purchase date and usage. [source]
Its pages do not say
Refunds only for Premium members who dispute a charge within 2 calendar days of the billing period's start and have not used the service in it, case by case, less a 3.5% fee. [source]
Activated subscriptions are non-refundable; an unintended web renewal may get a pro-rated refund if you write within 24 hours, less processing fees; extended, verifiable technical issues may get a credit or refund; App Store purchases are refunded by Apple. [source]
Dissatisfaction with AI output, or not getting interviews or offers, is not grounds for a refund. [source]
The pricing page offers a 14-day money-back guarantee; the terms say it applies once per user and that otherwise subscriptions are non-returnable, with no refund for the remaining period on cancelling. [source]
The terms (last modified January 11, 2024) state that the money-back guarantee applies only once to the same user. [source]
Every Pro payment can be refunded in full within 7 days, no questions asked; Paddle is the Merchant of Record. [source]

Questions

What is the best free job tracker?

On the free plans as stated: Huntr tracks up to 100 jobs with contacts and phone apps, Jobscan's tracker is free with a match rate per card, Simplify's tracker and Gmail integration are free, Kickresume's tracker is free, and Jobapplier's Tracker has no limit on any plan.

Is a job tracker app better than a spreadsheet?

A spreadsheet holds whatever columns you make. These tools add what a sheet cannot do by itself: saving a posting from a job board in one click, reminders, a match score per job, or status updates from your e-mail. If you need none of that, a spreadsheet costs nothing.

Which job trackers have phone apps?

Huntr has iOS and Android apps, and Simplify has an iOS app. Whether Teal has phone apps could not be confirmed from its pages.

How was this list made?

From each tool's own pages, against the criteria above. None of the trackers was used for this page.
